About Sean
Sean combines broad psychological training with a collaborative, down-to-earth approach. Therapy begins with understanding your experience, your priorities and what meaningful change would look like for you.
Sean FraserClinical PsychologistA considered approach
Sean Fraser is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 25 years of practising experience helping adults navigate depression, OCD, anxiety, and the effects of present-day or childhood-based trauma.
His postgraduate training spans neuropsychology, clinical psychology and coaching. This broad perspective helps Sean understand both the immediate difficulty and the wider patterns that may be shaping a person's experience.
Sean does not expect one method to suit everyone. He works with each person to consider their history, strengths, preferences and goals, then draws from appropriate evidence-informed approaches. The work is collaborative: you remain an active participant in the direction and pace of therapy.

A safe therapeutic relationship is not built through promises. It develops through respect, openness and a shared understanding of the work you are doing together.
Understand symptoms within the context of your history, relationships, environment and goals.
Make sense of what is happening together and agree on a direction that feels relevant to you.
Draw from different therapeutic approaches rather than asking you to fit a single formula.
Return to your goals as therapy develops and adjust the work when your needs change.
The therapeutic fit
You do not need to arrive with a polished explanation. Sean will ask questions, listen, and help organise what you are noticing into a clearer picture. You can also ask about his approach and what therapy may involve.
